The weekend is here, and the weather is feeling fall-like in the Pacific Northwest. We do love the change in seasons. My wife and I spent time at the Hoffman Farms Pumpkin Patch last weekend and had a blast in the cool fall air.

This is the weekend to get out of the city and relax in the Willamette Valley wine country for a bit of R&R before the holidays and the clouds set in for our winter. The leaves are changing and there is nothing better and finding a new favorite vintage at one of the more than 500 wineries from North Plains to Eugene. Call me if you are heading to the valley, and we can meet up at one of your favorite places, or I can always make a recommendation for something new.

As far as real estate goes, the Portland metro real estate market is strong as of the reporting on closed sales through the end of August. Both the average and median sales prices came in roughly 2% higher for August over the August 2018 numbers.
